Online Assistant, Your Home magazine
Your Home magazine in Colchester is seeking an Online Assistant to work primarily on the magazine's website, as well as contributing
to aspects of editorial when required on the magazine itself. The successful applicant will have a relevant degree, heaps of enthusiasm,
and ideally technical knowledge of the internet. The ability to meet strict deadlines is a must, as key elements of the role will
include updating the site daily with relevant and fresh content, sourcing competitions, writing and turning around copy, sourcing
images and monitoring forums.

We need someone special who can handle the whole breadth of editorial duties. Someone who can get to grips with industry issues,
interview movers and shakers, as well as having superb writing skills – comfortable with handling both news and features. The deputy
editor also needs be a super sub and able to handle a smooth production from raw copy to publication. The successful candidate will be
expected to attend press conferences and exhibitions both home and abroad.
